Since the late 70's I have been a big fan of Aurora's AFX slot cars.

    I had a 4-lane Tomy AFX layout in the basement of my home in Pompton Lakes. The track was there from ~1998 through 2005. In 2005 it was moved upstairs and my Battletech : Firestorm pods took over this room from 2005 through 2009. 

    The Tomy AFX track was very durable. The overall construction was great. Lower rails, smoother joints when connected etc. than the old Aurora snap lock tracks I had as a kid

    I had a small layout in my apt in Morristown in the middle layer of my coffee table.

In May 2020, I put together a custom routed Viper Scale Racing track. It is a 3'x6' 3-lane track.
